25th of Adar, 5770
This is an email announcement regarding the documentary film, Lonely Man of Faith: The Life and Legacy of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik.
First, I wanted to let you know about a screening coming up, this weekend.
Sunday night, March 14 (29th night of Adar) at
7:30 PM:
Congregation Beit Tikvah of Ottawa,
Canada. The synagogue is located at
15 Chartwell Avenue in Craig Henry. The screening is co-sponsored by
The College of Jewish Studies. There is a $5 suggested donation.
Also, two more screenings booked for April:
April 25th (11th of Iyar): Kashenberg Ostrow Hayward Library lecture series in Sacramento, CA.
More details to follow.
As I announced previously, the eagerly anticipated home video version of Lonely Man of Faith will soon be available for purchase on the Lonely Man of Faith website. Due to technical issues, the rollout has been delayed by a few weeks. I hope to have it available shortly before Passover, however. I will let you all know once the webstore is finally in place.
